In this workshop, you will learn about the development and expansion of specialized Infant Toddler Courts in New York State. It will highlight the role of the Clinical Coordinator, an infant mental health specialist who offers ongoing clinical assessment to inform planning for infants and toddlers with child protection cases, seeks to preserve, repair, and protect children’s important relationships, and provides leadership for a highly collaborative court team for each child that brings the family, all attorneys and case workers, and all service providers together on a regular basis to promote children’s developmental health and strengthen families’ protective factors.
